bet9ja is front-of-shirt sponsor of Remo Stars
Back in 2013, bet9ja made history as the first betting brand
to become front-of-shirt sponsor of a Nigerian club when it sealed a deal with
Remo Stars, then campaigning in the second tier Nigeria National League.
Today, the club plays in the top flight and bet9ja remains
front-of-shirt sponsor of the team.This has boosted awareness for the brand which has strategically become a national brand with operations across the country.

Four years after its initial romance with the ’beautiful
game’, bet9ja made an audacious move into the media by sealing a deal as
sponsor of the well celebrated SuperSport Program, Naija Made, which is the
highlight program of the country’s top flight league, the Nigeria Professional
Football League.
Awards
bet9ja partnered the Nigerian Sports Award to further boost
brand profile and sponsored The Pitch Awards.
“Bet9ja is delighted to be associated
with an award ceremony, that rewards excellence, skills and hard work in
football,” said Kunle Soname, chairman Bet9ja, during the 2016 edition.It is the only brand to sponsor two awards.
League

The announcement of the N200million naira sponsorship of the
second tier league, the NNL clearly confirms bet9ja’s role as the leading
betting brand in the country.
History was made as bet9ja became the first betting company
to sponsor a league in the country.
With 18 teams in the Southern Conference and 12 in the
Northern Conference, bet9ja takes ownership of the playing grounds of 30 teams.
Moreover, it enables the brand engage with football fans
spanning all 30 league clubs in the country.
bet9ja is not just maximizing the geographical spread of the
teams, but will also occupy an important part of the clubs as the NNL logo on
sleeves of all 30 clubs will carry the brand.
Managing Director of bet9ja, Ayo Ojuroye, while
announcing the partnership said it would help develop the league.
Ojuroye said: “It is our goal to support what is our
own hence the decision to support the NNL, it is a testament of our plans for
the Nigerian youths. We want to support grassroots development and promoting
the league will help us in achieving that.
