Community Sports & Educational Development trains games teachers


 


Participants at the two-day program organized by Community Sorts & Educational Development

Community Sport & Educational Development, a Non-Government Organisation, has completed a two-day training program for Games Masters and Mistresses, in Primary Schools, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, on October 4 and 5, respectively. 

Udu LG Chief Inspector of Education (CIE), Mrs. Eguriase applauded CSED for the initiative and cost free training programme.

“The sessions have ignited the desire of Sports Officers, Games Masters/Mistresses to do better,” she said.

Former Nigerian International and Afcon 1994 star, Edema Fuludu, who serves as CSED Programmes Coordinator expressed satisfaction with the turnout of participants.

Fuludu also delivered a pep Talk on “Components of A Training Session – The Fundamentals”

Former National Team coach, Dan Ovumena, veteran Coach, Paul Obire and Bob Blackson amongst others delivered lectures.

Practical sessions on coaching methodology were marred by heavy downpour, but it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm exhibited by participants.

Mrs Clara Ukulu, a woman development officer from Burutu Local Government delivered a lecture on “Keeping Children Safe in Schools and Sporting Environment.”
